Dimitrie Stefanescu, founder at Speckle Systems and an adept advisor in the ranks of PrismArch project, joined a discussion with PrismArch’s consortium on Friday, October 1.
Dimitrie joined our meeting to discuss on recent developments on Speckle and its future applications in information management in AEC industry. Participants had the chance to discuss on various issues regarding further integration of PrismArch’s developments and architecture on Speckle’s database, promoting overall innovation in built environment.
A various set of points was discussed, including the requirements for new PrismArch ontologies in regards to signature and tags for Speckle commits, alternative options for PrismArch’s core foundation for ontology, non-ontological requirements for PrismArch and its database and integration for synchronous and asynchronous collaboration. Legal requirements and restrictions about data safety were also indicated.
A set of interesting outcomes were brought out of this discussion, revealing next actions and further developments to make. PrismArch’s consortium will continue their communication with Speckle System on this basis, while the first outcomes are expected during the next months.
