New Outcomes in Interdisciplinary Immersive Simulations embedded in VR

Pleased to release our report on congregated multidisciplinary design and simulation, conceptualising the functional and operational requirements for the PrismArch Platform.

This report builds upon the cross-disciplinary perspectives of the AEC industry discussed in previous research in PrismArch project, by providing a more detailed description of the prerequisites for multidisciplinary information exchange and collaborative design platform functionalities that must be implemented to achieve PrismArch.

The topics cover the general usability guidelines, technical requirements for how multidisciplinary data should be managed inside PrismArch  and user-oriented requirements for data should be managed, visualised and interacted with inside PrismArch.

The core data management requirements for multidisciplinary design and simulation is outlined, with various PrismArch-specific requirements that both enable and regulate the unified design space being  described in detail.

User scenarios are analysed in a holistic way, arriving at the most efficient means of representing metadata inside PrismArch.
