A new definition of architectural projects and usage scenarios

Our latest report was developed and authored by three basic AEC disciplines, namely Architects (Zaha Hadid Virtual Reality Group), Structural Engineers (AKT II) and Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health Engineers (Sweco).

The desired operation system and user experience design are analysed, including the developed case studies based on previous analysis of residential and commercial cases made in the context of PrismArch project.

This report explores a series of hypothetical usage scenarios for the PrismArch collaboration platform, developed from internal discipline-specific and multi-disciplinary perspectives. Its main aim is to outline an ideal future workflow for an architectural project development with the integration of XR technology. The report introduces virtual work environments, user interface and navigation preferences, project information and data protection for multi-authored project content, and their management concept.

What is described here thoroughly is a desired platform design collected from the three disciplines. It should be noted though that the authored content is hypothetical and further prototype developments are required to analyse the detailed technical feasibility. The final outcomes are subject to the analysed technical feasibility, time-frame and resources of the PrismArch project.
